Abstract
The study aims to verify the existence of a relationship between the formation of an individual's identity and the study of traditional karate for the needs of everyday life. The purpose of the analysis of the literature and the subsequent comments is to summarise and identify the key aspects involved in the process of achieving each person's identity in society, also from the perspective of the lifestyle and life values.
