Abstract (in English)
The article deals with the topic of secondary education in the Czech Republic with the special focus on the vocational education of the economic subjects. First part of the article is focused on the secondary education in the Czech Republic in general. Thus there are statistical data about the volume and the structure of the secondary schools in the Czech Republic presented. Those data are related to the volume of the pupils of the secondary schools as well as the structure of those pupils according to the type of the secondary schools. The motivation of the pupils to make a choice about the type of the secondary school is implemented as well. The second part of the article deals with the problem of the framework of education programme and its transformation to the school education programme with the focus on the economic topics implemented in both types of documents.
