Abstract (in English)
Among Clear script manuscripts from Mongolia, manuscripts written on the Russian handmade paper occur quite frequently. The time of paper production can be approximately specified according to watermarks, in case of the Mongolian manuscripts usually cut into several pieces. The usage of the Russian handmade paper in the Northern Mongolia dates into 1750s – 1850s. Since 1778, the inclusion of the year of production into the watermark helps to approximate the origin of manuscripts and eventually to chronologize the paleographic evolution of the Clear script.
