Abstract (in Czech)

Monografie se zaobírá tématem překladu verše ze španělštiny do češtiny na základě komparace verše originálu a verše překladu. Cílem bylo analyzovat Calderónovy polymetrické hry po veršové stránce, srovnat španělské a české versifikační systémy a následně analyzovat strategie českých překladatelů. Klíčovou část monografie představuje srovnávací versologická studie, která využívá statistické metody analýzy verše. Poslední kapitola je věnována úpravám textů při dramatizaci her. Autor na příkladu jednoho vybraného překladu odhaluje, jakým způsobem divadelní režiséři původní text, který je základem různých inscenací v několika českých divadlech, redukují a modifikují. Navzdory překladatelovu přesnému formálním řešení nerespektují výsledné inscenace polymetrii a závažně narušují strofické a nestrofické formy.

Abstract (in English)

This study deals with the topic of verse translation from the Spanish to the Czech language and is focused on a comparison between the original and the translated verse. The objective is to examine the verse of Calderón’s polymetric plays, to compare the Spanish and Czech versification systems and to analyse the strategies of Czech translators. The main part is a comparative versological study based on the statistical methods of analysis. In the las chapter it is possible to observe how the modifications of Czech directors affect the polymetry of the translation.
