Abstract

Popularizační přednáška byla věnována výročí 100 let od vzniku samostatného československého státu se zvláštním zaměřením na postavení a vnitřní vývoj Jednoty českobratrské (dříve Svobodné reformované církve). Mimo popsání snah o sjednocení protestantských církví v ČSR, změny jména a sociální práce byla pozornost věnována i vztahu kazatele Františka Urbánka s Tomášem Garrigue Masarykem.

Abstract (in English)

This popularization lecture was dedicated to the 100th anniversary of building of the Czechoslovak Republic with focusing on the position and inner development of the Unity of Czech Brethren (former Free Reformed Church). Besides the description of desires for unification of protestant churches in Czechoslovakia and change of the name and social work of the Unity of Czech Brethren, the attention was paid to the relationship between pastor František Urbánek and Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk.
