Abstract
This works deals with using of diode laser thermal vaporisation induced coupled plasma mass spectrometry (DLTV ICP MS) and its compatibility with a sampling technique, "dried blood spot" (DBS). Blood samples were applied onto a special DBS card which has used as a substrate for DLTV technique. A minimal number of blood samples needed for an accurate and trueness determination of lead in blood was examined with regard to a possible application in practice.
