Abstract

Die Böhmerwaldliteratur wird sehr oft durch die Anwendung von dortigen Dialekten kenngezeichnet. Ein Dialekt ist für die Literatur etwas, was in sich die Konzepte wie „Raum“ oder „Identität“ trägt, und als solcher ermöglicht er die Literatur diese Konzepte darzustellen. Das Hauptinteresse wird auf die Anwendung von mundartlichen Sprüchleinen in den Böhmerwaldmärchen, auf die in Dialekt geschriebenen Erzählungen und auf Darstellung der Figuren in der Böhmerwaldprosa, die Mundart sprechen, gelegt. An diesen Beispielen wird gezeigt, wie die Konzepte als „Raum“ oder „Identität“ durch die Sprache ermittelt werden können.

Abstract (in Czech)

Jedním ze specifik šumavské literatury je i využívání místních německých nářečí. Dialekt představuje pro literaturu prostředek, skrze nějž je možné vyjádřit koncepty jako „prostor“ či „identita“. Příspěvek se zaměří na použití nářečních říkanek v šumavských pohádkách, na využití dialektu v šumavských povídkách, především v přímé řeči. Na těchto příkladech bude demonstrováno, zda a jak dokáže jazyk (zde šumavský dialekt) vyjadřovat koncepty jako je „prostor“ a „identita“.

Abstract (in English)

A specific part of the literature of the Šumava region is the use of local dialects. A dialect is a means through which concepts such as “space” and “identity” can be expressed. The conference paper focuses on the use of local dialects in the fairy-tales of the Šumava and on how it is employed in various stories and characterizations. It is hoped that these examples will demonstrate whether and how a language (or in this case a dialect) can convey such concepts as “space” and “identity.”
