Abstract

Autor přítomného článku se zabývá revitalizací literární historie od počátku 21. století v kontrastu k převažujícímu synchronně funkčnímu přístupu v první polovině 20. století. Současné pokusy o „novou literární historii“ se pokládají za reflexi konjunktury módních a velmi často mělkých, nepodstatných diskurzů, které vyjadřují takřka stejnými slovy tradiční koncepty. Nezbytí hluboce koncipované teorie literárních dějin předpovězené ve 30. letech 20. století Reném Wellkem musí doprovázet praktické, reprezentativní, reálné dějiny národních literatur nebo dokonce nadnárodních komplexů, jako jsou generální literatura, příbuzné literatury nebo dokonce světová literatura včetně její reflexivní a apelativní funkce. Nakonec autor uvádí příklady dějin národních literatur, většinou slovansko-ruských, v českém prostředí reflektujících české kulturní pozadí a zkušenosti s důrazem na důležitost individuálních dějin upřednostňujících je před týmovými díly, která často ztrácejí vlastní neopakovatelnou tvář.

Abstract (in English)

The author of the present article deals with the revitalization of literary history since the beginning of the 21st century in contrast to the prevalence of the synchronous funcional approach in the first half of the 20th century. The contemporary attempts at the „new literary history“ are regarded as reflecting the boom of fashionable and very often shallow, unsubstantial discourses expressing nearly with the same words the traditional concepts. The necessity of the deeply conceived theory of literary history predicted in the 1930s by René Wellek must be accompanied by the practical, representative, real histories of national literatures or even supranational complexes, such as general literature, related literatures or even world literature including its reflexive and appellative functions. In the end, he gives several examples of the histories of national literatures, mainly Slavonic/Russian in the Czech environment reflecting the Czech cultural background and experience stressing the importance of individual histories preferring them to team works which often lose their own unrepeatable faces.
