Abstract

Text je zaměřen na časoprostorové aspekty fenoménu stárnutí. Z mnohosti úhlu pohledu si vybírá pouze rovinu každodennosti a běžných aktivit, které popisují vybraní mladší tuzemští senioři a seniorky v rámci hloubkových rozhovorů, které byly vedeny na téma reflexe každodenních aktivit v kontextu kombinace různých sociálních rolí. Cílem textu je odpovědět na dvě propojené otázky: 1) čím je nejzásadněji ovlivněn časový a prostorový charakter jejich dní a 2) jak se v kontextu časoprostorové zkušenosti vztahují k procesu vlastního stárnutí.

Abstract (in English)

The text is focused on spatio-temporal aspects of the phenomenon of aging. It analyses everydayness and routine activities as described by young-old people from the Czech Republic within in-depth interviews conducted on the subject of reflection of daily activities in the context of a combination of different social roles. The aim of the text is to answer two interrelated questions: 1) what is the most fundamental influence of the temporal and spatial character of their days, and 2) how, in the context of spatio-temporal experience, they relate to the aging process itself.
