Abstract

O romance Eva do autor caboverdiano Germano Almeida é uma das poucas obras do autor cuja história não se desenrola só no arquipélago caboverdiano. Sendo assim, é possível observar neste romance a imigração, que é um dos traços da identidade caboverdiana, dum ponto de vista diferente. O objetivo desta comunicação é analisar a diferença entre a imagem dum imigrante nos romances cuja história se localiza em Cabo Verde, e nos que se desenrolam fora das ilhas, a questão de identidade e a relação entre eu (o caboverdiano) e o outro (o estrangeiro).

Román Eva kapverdského spisovatele Germana Almeidy je jedním z mála autorových děl, které se neodehrává na Kapverdských ostrovech. Díky tomu můžeme v díle pozorovat migraci, jež je jedním z prvků kapverdské identity, z jiného úhlu. Cílem tohoto příspěvku je analyzovat rozdíl mezi obrazem migranta v románech, které se odehrávají na Kapverdech, a těch, které se odehrávají mimo ostrovy, a také otázku identity a vztah mezi "já" (Kapveďanem) a "tím druhým" (cizincem).

Abstract (in English)

The novel Eva by the Cape Verdean author Germano Almeida is one of the few works of the author whose story does not take place only in the Cape Verdean archipelago. Therefore, it is possible to observe in this novel immigration, which is one of the traits of the Cape Verdean identity, from a different point of view. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the difference between the image of an immigrant in the novels whose story is set in Cape Verde, and in those that take place outside the islands, the question of identity and the relationship between me (the Cape Verdean) and the other (the foreigner).
