Abstract

Příspěvek se zabývá vzájemným vztahem mezi historií a nacionalismem na Balkáně, který představuje významnou překážku pro nezaujaté poznání historie jihovýchodní Evropy. Závěry jsou demonstrovány na příkladě různých pohledů historiků na bosenskou otázku a prostřednictvím charakterizace makedonské historiografie, jež dosud povětšinou zůstává v zajetí nacionalistického pojetí dějin.

Abstract (in English)

The paper deals with the interrelationship between history and nationalism in the Balkans, which presents a significant setback for an unprejudiced understanding of the history of Southeastern Europe. Conclusions are demonstrated on the example of diverse perspectives of historians on the Bosnian Question and through a characterization of Macedonian historiography, which still largely remains in the toils of the nationalist conception of history.
