Abstract
This article focuses on the work load of the Central Operational Halls of the Faculty Hospital in Brno. The timelines of each operating room was measured and possible critical stages leading to time delays in the operation schedule were evaluated. The record is divided into several phases that have been defined by the contracting authority along with the events that may occur during the operation. Experiments were carried out using a mobile application able to measure time and desktop application for data evaluation. The article does not address the planning and logistics of the central operating theaters. It is useful to identify critical stages in order to optimize the whole process.
