The Rokštejn Castle pottery assemblages span from the 13th to the 15th century, encompassing the existence of the Castle from its origins until the destruction in 1467. Based on the data from the systematic archaeological excavation of the Castle, stratified pottery assemblages are precisely dated. The aim of this presentation is to discuss the development of pottery in castle environment as a social aspect of local production and/or trade with pottery. The study of the provenience of the pottery (XRF and macroscopic analyses) is an ongoing project focused mainly on the area of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, where the castle and its hinterland are situated.

Keramické soubory z hradu Rokštejn od 13. do 15. století zachycují veškerou existenci hradu, od jeho počátků do jeho zničení v roce 1467. Na základě dat získaných ze systematického archeologického výzkumu jsou tyto stratifikované soubory přesně datovány. Cílem prezentace je představit vývoj keramiky v hradním prostředí jako sociální aspekt místní produkce a/nebo obchodu s keramikou. Studium provenience keramiky (XRF an makroskopie) je probíhající projekt, který je zaměřen především na oblast Českomoravské vrchoviny, kde se nachází hrad a jeho zázemí.
