The aim of this work was to study a series of TMW beech (Fagus Sylvatica) samples: untreated, heat treated at 160, 180 and 200 °C at varying plasma treatment distance. Surfaces were characterized with CA measurements and SFE calculations. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) is further scheduled.
