Abstract
The constitution theory has been applied in an analysis of metaphysical vagueness which avoids commitment to vague identity. I argue that constitution theory can explain elegantly only instances of outer boundary vagueness. However, there are cases of mid-extension vagueness where the constitutional solution fails.

Teorie konstituce byla aplikována na analýzu metafyzické vágnosti. Výhodou má být skutečnost, že konstituční analýza nezavazuje k přijetí vágnosti identity. V přednášce ukazuji, že konstituční teorie řeší elegantně pouze případy vágnosti vnějších hranic objektu, ale selhává při řešení vágnosti uprostřed objektu.
