V originále

Navzdory úspěchům léčby TKI zůstává jedinou potenciálně kurativní metodou u GIST rekta chirurgická RO resekce. Nejen vzhledem k nízké frekvenci výskytu těchto nádorů je správná diagnostika a léčba náročná. Proto by měli být pacienti s touto problematikou soustředěni do specializovaných center.

In English

Despite the success of TKI treatment, the only potentially curative method of rectalGISTs is a surgical RO resection. Given the relatively rare frequency of these tumours, proper diagnosis and treatment is demanding. Therefore, these patients should be preferably treated in specialised centers.
