In the original language
In my contribution I described and analyzed transformation of the Unity of the Brethren from a radical, ascetic sect into a Church. This paper was based on a comparison of works of Petr Chelčický and Luke of Prague. The analysis was based on theories of M. Weber, E. Troeltsch, B. Wilson, and R. Stark. This contribution was part of the session: Religious Dissent, Reform, and Repression, I: Rupture and Continuity in Dissident Theologies.
