Anotace
Dieser Beitrag beschäftigt sich mit den Lebensbedingungen und -sicherheiten der Sänger und Musiker, die im 18. Jahrhundert im Wiener Stephansdom gedienten. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf der Karriere von Kirchenmusiker - von Adjunctenstellen, Besetzung von freigewordenen Positionen und bis zu Ereignissen nach dem Tod eines Musikers. Darüber hinaus wird auf den Unterricht von Chorknaben fokussiert. Zu den wichtigsten Veränderungen im 18. Jahrhundert gehörte die neue Gottesdienstordnung. Diese Vorschriften Josephs II. Beeinflussten die Häufigkeit der figuralen Musikaufführungen sowie die Finanzierung, die anhand von Beispielen veranschaulicht wird.

This study deals with the living conditions and certainties of the singers and musicians who served in the Vienna Cathedral of St. Stephen during the 18th century. The focus is on so-called adjunct positions, the occupation of vacant positions and events after the death of a musician. Furthermore, the supply and teaching of choral boys are explained. To the most important changes during the 18th century belonged the new order of worship. These prescriptions of Joseph II influenced the frequency of the figural music performances as well as the financing, which is illustrated by examples.
