Abstract
The Bi-X (X = Sn, Ni) nanoalloys of various compositions were prepared by means of demanding synthesis, and basic properties from the point of view of the influence of particle radius on the melting temperature depression were studied. Melting properties obtained from DSC analysis were compared with theoretical calculations. Shape and composition of particles after annealing were characterized by scanning electron microscopy with energy X-ray dispersive spectroscopy and by ICP-OES.
