Abstract
The presentation aims to address the syllabus making process and activities for B2 level students of social studies at Masaryk University. The flexible syllabus tailored to students' needs enhances their commitment; through activities intended to intensify critical engagement with media outputs, they develop cognitive skills for the media age.
