Cílem publikace je představit grafický design za posledních zhruba 130 let prostřednictvím příkladů vybraných děl a autorů ze sbírky Moravské galerie v Brně. Výběr autorů byl omezen pouze na ty, kteří jsou v Moravské galerii svými díly zastoupeni, některé jejich práce však byly vybrány i z jiných sbírek.

The goal of this publication is to present graphic design for approximately the last 130 years by means of examples of selected works and authors from the collection of the Moravian Gallery in Brno. The authors selection was only limited to those whose works are represented in the Moravian Gallery, but some of their works were also chosen from other collections.
