Abstract

V originále

The paper deals with the development of those orthographic phenomena, whose development in the 17th and 18th centuries has not been yet described properly, as the material base of Porák’s (1983) major work devoted to the development of the Czech orthography of the humanist period ends in the first third of the 17th century. The analysis is based on complete transliterations of nearly 30 prints of broadside ballads published in the Olomouc and Brno printing houses from the mid-17th century to the 70ies of the 18th century.
