Abstract

Prevalence poruch autistického spektra narůstá a z této diagnózy se stává jedno z klíčových témat speciální pedagogiky a dalších odborných profesí, jako je pediatrie či dětská neurologie. Máme však jako odborníci v oblasti speciální pedagogiky dostatečné povědomí o tom, co poruchy autistického spektra obnášejí a jaké jsou možnosti jejich diagnostiky a terapie? A jak jsou na tom pediatři, kteří jsou považování za klíčové osoby pro včasný screening PAS? Podařilo se vyvrátit některé mýty o autismu, které stále kolují v laické, a někdy i v odborné debatě? V příspěvku se zamyslíme nad tím, jak informovanost o poruchách autistického spektra v České republice vypadá, a shrneme si hlavní obtíže, které v současnosti provázejí speciálně pedagogickou intervenci v této oblasti. Podíváme se také, kam speciálně pedagogický přístup k PAS a vnímání autismu obecně došli od doby, kdy se tomuto tématu v České republice teprve začala věnovat pozornost. Představena bude také aplikovaná behaviorální analýza, která je v mnoha zemích považována za intervenci první volby u PAS.

Abstract (in English)

The prevalence of autism spectrum disorders is increasing and this diagnosis is becoming one of the key topics of special education and other professional professions such as paediatrics or pediatric neurology. What, as special education specialists, are we aware of what autistic spectrum disorders entail and what are their diagnostic and therapy options? And what about the pediatricians who are considered to be key persons for early ASD screening? Have some myths about autism still circulated in lay and sometimes professional debate? In this paper, we will consider how awareness of autism spectrum disorders in the Czech Republic looks and summarize the main difficulties that currently accompany special pedagogical intervention in this area. We will also look at where the special pedagogical approach to ASD and the perception of autism have generally come from the time when this topic in the Czech Republic has just begun to pay attention. Applied behavioral analysis, which is considered to be the first choice intervention in ASD in many countries, will also be presented.
