Abstract

Workshop Digitalizace kulturního dědictví se uskutečnil 18. září 2019 na Kabinetu informačních studií a knihovnictví. Zaměřil se na vymezení základních termínů a jejich proměnu pod vlivem informatizace, automatizace a digitalizace paměťových institucí. Lektor s účastníky řešil problémy s terminologickým vymezením pojmů sbírka a archiv, včetně jejich filozofického přesahu, základní vymezení pojmu kulturní dědictví a také pojem cloud. Účastníci se dále zaměřili hledání odpovědí na otázky: Jak je pojímáno kulturního dědictví v informačních studiích? A naopak jaká je role informačních studií v digitalizaci kulturního dědictví? S kterými dalšími vědními disciplínami a jak souvisí kulturní dědictví? V závěru byl také představen obor Cultural heritage Informatics a jeho přínos k probírané problematice.

Abstract (in English)

The workshop titled “Digitization of Cultural Heritage” was organised on 18th September 2019 at the Division of Information and Library Studies. It was focused on definition of basic terms and shift of their meaning caused by informatization, automation and digitisation of memory institutions. The core concept collection, archive and cloud were discussed and philosophical overlaps and implication were scrutinized. Interpretation of the term cultural heritage was discussed too. Then the participants concentrated on finding the answers to the following questions: How is understood the cultural heritage in information studies? Conversely, what is the role of information studies in the digitisation of cultural heritage? How and with what other disciplines does cultural heritage relate? In the end was also introduced the field of the Cultural heritage informatics and its contribution to the discussed issues.
