Kniha seznamuje čtenáře se základními pojmy statistiky a uvádí výklad postupů analýzy kvantitativních dat. Postupuje od desriptivních statistik k regresním modelům (lineárním a logistickým)a výklad zakončuje postupy faktorové a seskupovací analýzy. Vše je ilustrováno výpočetními postupy v rámci prgrami IBM SPSS.

The book is an introduction do statistical data analysis. It begins with basic concepts os statistics. Then explains how to calculate descriptive statistics (frequencies, crosstabs). At the end it explains regression model (both linear and logistic) and multivariate procedures as factor analysis and cluster analysis. All statistical methods are illustrated and explained by IBM SPSS procedures.
