Abstract

Zemědělské nástroje jsou považovány za významnou část kovového inventáře sídlištní složky velkomoravského hradiska na Pohansku u Břeclavi. Ačkoliv jejich role v ekonomickém systému doznala v průběhu desetiletí výzkumu výrazného posunu, nelze je považovat za nedůležitou položku reprezentující jen malou část sociálního spektra obyvatel centra. Stávající pozice zemědělských nástrojů v systému, který se snaží komplexně popsat význam a fungování rozsáhlé lokality, je definována jeho nedostatečným zpracováním. V této práci jsou zemědělské nástroje a nálezy, které lze spojit se zemědělskou produkcí a činností obyvatel centra ve druhé polovině 9. století, poprvé souhrnně zpracovány a analyzovány.

Abstract (in English)

Agricultural tools are regarded as an important part of the metal inventory in the settlement component of the Great Moravian fortified settlement at Pohansko near Břeclav. Although their role in the economic system has changed considerably over the course of excavations lasting decades, the tools cannot be regarded as unimportant items representing only a small part of the social spectrum of the residents of this centre. The existing position of the agricultural tools in the system that attempts to comprehensively describe the significance and functioning of the vast site is defined by its inadequate processing. This work is the first to comprehensively process and analyse the agricultural tools and finds that can be connected with the agricultural production and activities of the centre’s residents in the second half of the 9th century.
