Abstract
Eight Gestalt therapists have chosen one successful and one unsuccessful case of his/her work with clients with medically unexplained symptoms for detailed interview with researchers. The data were analysed using principles of Grounded theory and consensual research. A poster presents each therapist’s personal therapeutic approach. The personal therapeutic approach is explored in two steps. First, how it is expressed in specific strategies (conceptualisation and interventions). Second, what more general patterns of working with this particular kind of clients can be conceived.
