Relácia o antropologickom a psychologickom výskume viery a náboženstva. Vedci vysvetľujú, prečo je ľudská myseľ postavená tak, že veríme na nadprirodzeno a bohov a objasňujú, akú rolu hrali nadprirodzené bytosti pri formovaní veľkých spoločností a komplexných kooperácií. Pohovoria aj o význame rituálov a vysvetľujú, aký je vzťah medzi morálkou a náboženstvom.

A show discusses anthropological and psychological research on belief and religion. Scientists explain why the human mind evolved a capacity for believing in the supernatural and the gods and clarify the role of the supernatural beings in shaping large complex societies and collaborations within. They also discuss the importance of rituals and explain the relationship between morality and religion.
