Abstract

Česko stárne. Do “kritického” věku 50+ se dostávají silné ročníky. Test Aktuálně.cz s životopisy však ukázal, že věková diskriminace je tu hluboce zakořeněná. Představy, že určitý věk je lepší než jiný, se ale nedotýkají jen trhu práce. Objevují se i ve službách, zdravotnictví, bytové politice, ve vztazích mezi lidmi. O příčinách ageismu a řešeních mluví v rozhovoru socioložka Lucie Vidovićová.

Abstract (in English)

The Czech Republic is aging. The "critical" age of 50+ is getting strong years. However, the Aktualne.cz test with CVs showed that age discrimination is deeply rooted here. However, the notion that a certain age is better than another does not only concern the labor market. They also appear in services, health care, housing policy, in human relations. The causes of ageism and solutions speak in an interview sociologist Lucie Vidovićová.
