Abstract

The paper presents series of arguments on how raising levels of new nationalism, low media and technological literacy among older adults on one hand are working with the high levels of ageism on the other hand, producing less than optimal societal environment for growing old.

Příspěvek předkládá řadu argumentů o tom, jak zvyšování úrovně nového nacionalismu, nízké mediální a tchnologické gramotnosti mezi staršími dospělými na jedné straně pracuje s vysokou mírou ageismu na druhé straně a produkuje méně než optimální společenské prostředí pro stárnutí.
