Abstract

Integrace v rámci místní komunity je zásadní pro vytváření pocitu domova a přináležitosti k novému místu. Pokud komunitu, do níž se lze integrovat, ale nedokáží poskytnout místní v důsledku jazykové bariéry, vyžaduje vytvoření pocitu domova možnost vytvářet intimnější vazby v rámci lokálních komunit, v nichž se problém jazykové bariéry nevyskytuje. Etnické a náboženské komunity dokáží sehrávat tuto roli a fungovat tak jako zprostředkovatelé domova i s potřebnými afektivními vazbami. V příspěvku ukážeme, jak brněnští expatrioti zvládají situaci přesídlení a nutnosti zabydlet se na novém místě s pomocí podpůrných náboženských komunit, jakož i dalších strategií vázaných na náboženství/nenáboženství.

Abstract (in English)

Integration with the local community is essential for the creation of the feeling of home and belonging to a new place of residence. If such a community cannot be provided by the locals because of the language barrier, for the possibility to create a “feeling-of-home,” it is needed to find a local community without this language barrier. Ethnic and religious communities can play this role and thus can function as mediators of home with necessary affective ties. Our presentation showed how Brno expatriates coped with the situation of resettlement and home-making in a new place with the help of religious communities, as well as other strategies connected to religion/non-religion.
