Abstract
The lecture focused on the basic concepts of Floridi's philosophy, which related to the issue of education. At the same time, I linked Floridi's concept of infosphere to Damasio's model of dynamic homestatic equilibrium. One of the outcomes of the lecture was also an analysis of the four reasons why we go to school. Using the example he formulated in the 1990s, I tried to show how the current environment has changed so much that none of the reasons that were valid in the 1990s can be taken seriously today.
