Abstract

Ce chapitre du volume Sylvie Germain et les mythes présente quelques lieux de l'Europe qui sont devenus mythiques grace aux oeuvres de cette auteure. La quantité d’images inspirées par les villes tcheques, polonaises et russes entrent dans les récits et se transforment du chaos originel en espaces paisibles. Faire revivre les paysages visités est pour Sylvie Germain une facon de prier et de proposer ainsi a ses lecteurs la possibilité d’une transcendance de l’esprit humain, ce qui est analysé progressivement, lieu apres lieu, dans ce texte.

Tato kapitola knihy Sylvie Germainová a mýty představuje několik evropských míst, která se stala mýty díky dílům této autorky. Množství obrazů inspirovaných českými, polskými a ruskými městy vstupuje do příběhů a mění se z původního chaosu na pokojné prostory. Oživování navštívených krajin je pro Sylvii Germainovou způsob modlitby, a tak nabízí čtenářům možnost transcendence lidského ducha, což je postupně, místo po místu, analyzováno v tomto textu.

Abstract (in English)

This chapter of the volume Sylvie Germain and the myths presents some places in Europe that have become legendary thanks to the works of this author. Many images inspired by Czech, Polish and Russian cities enter into the stories and they are transformed from the original chaos into peaceful spaces. Reviving the visited landscapes is for Sylvie Germain a way of praying and offering her readers the possibility of a transcendence of the human spirit, which is in this text analyzed gradually, place after place.
