Abstract
The issue of Theatralia 2019/2 is focussed on Multilingual Theatre in the Czech Lands in Early Modern Period. The main section Yorick consists of the articles focussed on: the theatre of the Piarist order, the entertainers of the Baroque époque, Leopold Ignaz von Dietrichstein as a lover and connoisseur of theatre art, the English tragedy The Virgin Martyr (1620), the pasticcio (a significant sub-genre of the Italian opera seria in the 18th century), the three-year tenancy (1780–1783) of the theatre building by the company of Joseph von Öttl, and on the documentation of the German speaking theatre in the Czech Lands in the Theatre almanacs and journals.
