Abstract
The paper presents practical use of literary theory, resp. encompassing philology based on the foundations of the Prague School. By structuralist thematic/semantic analysis of the text by Cesare Pavese, we present the current possibilities of using Central European literary theory and suggest where the literary theory can go further. For methodological purposes we use, besides encompassing philology, also the school of interpretive semantics of F. Rastier and also the semantic contexts of Jiří Veltruský (in Rastier's way understood as domains). Interpretation relies on three basic probes: the first examines the dimensions and domains of actors and agonists; the second deals with the semantic contexts of the individual actors and the transmutation of the sign value within these contexts; the third focuses on the isotopic bundle and the semic molecule a la Rastier. Abstract (in Czech)
Příspěvek představuje praktické využití literární teorie, resp. celostní filologie, která vychází ze základů Pražské školy. Strukturalistickou tematickou/sémantickou analýzou textu Skála Cesara Paveseho předkládáme aktuální možnosti využití středoevropké literární teorie a naznačujeme, kudy se literární teorie může ubírat dále. Pro metodologické účely využíváme kromě celostní filologie také školu interpretační sémantiky F. Rastiera a také významové kontexty Jiřího Veltruského (na Rastierův způsob chápané jako domény). Interpretace se opírá o tři základní sondy: první zkoumá dimense a domény v souvislosti s aktéry a agonisty; druhá se zabývá významovými kontexty jednotlivých aktérů a proměnou hodnoty znaku uvnitř těchto kontextů; třetí se zaměřuje na isotopický svazek a sémickou molekulu na rastierovský způsob. Vše je nakonec vztaženo k sémantickému gestu Jana Mukařovského.
