Abstract

Der Beitrag stellt eine Teilstudie eines Forschungsprojektes (GAČR 19-12624S) zur Erforschung der Mehrsprachigkeit in der Tschechischen Republik dar. Im Beitrag werden Ergebnisse einer Vorstudie vorgestellt, in der wir insbesondere auf die schulische Ebene fokussieren; die Perspektive der Schüler_innen, Eltern, aber auch der Bildungspolitik (mittels Lehrpläne) wird berücksichtigt. Unser Ziel ist festzustellen, (1) welche Herausforderungen sprachliche Diversität für die Schulen darstellt und (2) welche Maßnahmen eingesetzt werden, um sich mit der sprachlichen Diversität vor Ort auseinanderzusetzen. Anhand eines komplexen methodologischen Ansatzes (Interviews mit Lehrpersonen und Schulleitungen, Analyse der schulischen Lehrpläne, Interviews mit Schüler_innen und direkte Beobachtung) werden konkrete Praktiken der Bewältigung sprachlicher Diversität an einer mehrsprachigen Schule in Brno (CZ) beschrieben, wobei das Hauptaugenmerk auf den Zielen und Quellen der jeweiligen Maßnahmen liegt sowie darauf, inwieweit diese tatsächlich zur gleichwertigen Partizipation aller Schüler_innen beitragen.

Prezentace představuje dílčí studii výzkumného projektu ohledně výzkumu mnohojazyčnosti v České republice (GAČR 19-12624S). V prezentaci jsou představeny výsledky předběžné studie, ve které se zaměřujeme na školní úroveň; přičemž zohledněna je perspektiva žáků, rodičů, ale také vzdělávací politiky (zejména ŠVP). Naším cílem bylo prozkoumat (1) jaké výzvy jazyková rozmanitost představuje pro školy a (2) jaká opatření se používají k řešení jazykové rozmanitosti. Pomocí multimodálního metodického přístupu (rozhovory s učiteli a správci škol, analýza školních programů, rozhovory se žáky a přímé pozorování) byly popsány postupy řešení jazykové rozmanitosti na vícejazyčné škole v Brně (CZ) - hlavní důraz je kladen na popis cílů a zdrojů opatření, stejně jako i rozsah, v jakém přispívají k participaci všech studentů.

Abstract (in English)

The presentation represents a partial study of a research project (GAČR 19-12624S) to research multilingualism in the Czech Republic. It presents results of a preliminary study in which we focus on the school level; the perspective of pupils, parents, but also educational policy (using curricula) is taken into account. Our aim is to investigate (1) what challenges linguistic diversity poses for schools and (2) what measures are used to deal with linguistic diversity on the ground. Using a multimodal methodological approach (interviews with teachers and school administrators, analysis of school curricula, interviews with schoolchildren and direct observation), practices of dealing with linguistic diversity at a multilingual school in Brno (CZ) are described - the main focus is lied on goals and sources of the measures as well as the extent to which they contribute to the equal participation of all students.
