Abstract
The organized non-population based National Colorectal Cancer (CRC) Screening Program in the Czech Republic has been running since year 2000. In January 2014, the transition to population-based setting has been implemented. Currently, the annual immunochemical FOBT (FIT) is offered at the age 50 – 54, followed by FIT+ colonoscopy, if positive. In age of 55, there is a choice of either FIT biannually or screening colonoscopy in 10 years interval.
