Abstract
According to current registry data, 37% of hypertensive patients reach target blood pressure level. The failure to achieve target blood pressure level cause cardiovascular complications and mortality. Poorly treated arterial hypertension is long-term asymptomatic condition leading to hypertension-mediated organ damage (HMOD), that can be detected by imaging methods and laboratory tests. The aim of our study was to find out the difference in left ventricular (LV) mass values in nonadherent and adherent hypertensive patients.
