Anotace
Service Science as the phenomena of the last decade influences all parts of the providing services. Its importance can be summarized into following points: Clearly defined the role of IT as unique, inseparable tool for providing services Changes point of view to the economics (as well as non-profit) behavior- everything can be defined or analyzed as a service Defines mustidisciplinary approach as standard discipline to solve problems Focuses education to the direct cooperation with market and partners of the school and university After recognizing the fact of existence of problems that are not possible to be solved by one particular discipline, the service science with its multidisciplinary approach became very popular and efficient. Also many schools, even universities, founded a lot of multidisciplinary study programs, trying to educate new type of expert-multidisciplinary expert. But in the present time we see it was not enough. Multidisciplinarity means combination of more than one disciplines, but still very strongly defined (see U. S. National Innovation Investment Act, sec. 1106, 2007). Today's problems became more complex and the multidisciplinarity itself does not suffice to cope with them. It is necessary to combine more multidisciplinary educated experts together to be able to do so. The solution of the problem defined above is transdisciplinary, defined as is the intellectual space where the nature of the manifold links among isolated issues can be explored and unveiled, the space where issues are rethought, alternatives reconsidered, and interrelations revealed (UNESCO). The main question that should be answered is if the approach of Service Science can be still used for the transdisciplinary problems-and if yes-how. The second problem is the link into education process-what should be the reaction of the universities and schools? They are now creating the multi and inter disciplinary study programs, can they do more? Answers of those questions together with brief analysis of the future of the transdisciplinary approach are the main content of the article.
