Abstract
The aim of this article is to analyse the development of EU conflict of law rules for con-tractual and non-contractual obligations with international element concerning intellec-tual property rights. The main focus of the analysis is on the legislative history of Rome I Regulation and Rome II Regulation and the development of respective conflict of law rules and connecting factors.
