Abstract
In this paper the influence of the taper angle on the micro-compression of micro-pillars fabricated from Mo-B-C coatings was studied. A series of micro-pillars with a taper angle between 4–14° was fabricated by focused ion beam technique. It was shown that the averaged stress correction model provided comparable results with nanoindentation for the yield strength for taper angles up to ~10°.

V tomto článku byl studován vliv sklonu mikro-pilaru z Mo-B-C vrstev během mikro-kompresních testů. Série mikro-pilaru se sklonem 4-14 ° byli vytvoření technikou fokusovaného iontového paprsku. Ukázalo se, že průměrný korekční model pro napětí poskytuje porovnatelné výsledky s nanoindentaci pro sklon do ~ 10 °.
