Acanthosis nigricans je afekce charakterizovaná ztmavnutím (hyperpigmentací) a ztluštěním (hyperkeratózou) kůže, která se nejčastěji objevuje v axile, tříslech a na krku.

Acanthosis nigricans is a condition characterised by darkening (hyperpigmentation) and thickening (hyperkeratosis) of the skin, occurring mainly in the folds of the skin in the armpit, groin and neck.
