Abstract

La ponencia presenta algunos de los retos y desafíos de la traducción literaria, relacionados, ante todo, con la traducción de los realia. Es bien sabido que el traductor de textos literarios tiene que enfrentar todo tipo de desafiós, de los que, una mención especial se merece la traducción de elementos culturales inexistentes en la cultura de la lengua meta a la que se debe traducir. A base de ejemplos concretos, se esbozan los aspectos más relevantes que conforman el enfoque por tipos de diferentes estrategias traductológicasa las que el traductor puede acudir.

Abstract (in Czech)

Příspěvek se zaměřuje na vybraném výzvy a četná úskalí literárního překladu, které souvisejí především s překladem reálií. Je dobře známo, že překladatel literárních textů musí čelit všemožným výzvám, z nichž si zvláštní zmínku zaslouží překlad neexistujících kulturních prvků v kultuře cílového jazyka, do kterého má být text převeden. Na základě konkrétních příkladů je podán přehled základních typů překladatelských strategií, které překladatel může při převodu těchto skutečností uplatnit.

Abstract (in English)

The paper presents some of the challenges of literary translation, related, above all, to the translation of different sorts of realia. It is well known that the translator of literary texts has to face all kinds of challenges, of which a special mention deserves the translation of non-existent cultural elements in the culture of the target language to which it must be translated. Based on specific examples, the most relevant aspects that make up the approach will be outlined by types of different translation strategies that the translator can use.
