Abstract
Abstract (in English)
Pain is an unpleasant sensory and emotional experience associated with tissue damage or its immediate threat. Virtually all patients in intensive care experience pain, both in connection with the primary disease (trauma, surgical intervention) and with the necessary procedures in the ICU (positioning, intubation, nasogastric tube).
