Abstract

Pacienti s akutní intoxikací představují důležitou skupinu přijatých na ICU. Obecně lze intoxikace rozdělit na náhodné a úmyslné. Nejdůležitější skupinou intoxikací jsou úmyslné otravy se suicidiálním úmyslem, dále pak akcidentální otravy potenciálně letální dávkou toxinu (např. alimentární intoxikace plodnicemi muchomůrky zelené). V dalším textu se budeme zabývat nejdříve obecnými principy diagnostiky a iniciální terapie a poté klinicky nejdůležitějšími konkrétními případy otrav, s nimiž se v našich podmínkách setkáváme. K detailnějšímu studiu dané problematiky viz odkazy v průběhu této kapitoly.

Abstract (in English)

Patients with acute intoxication represent an important group admitted to the ICU. In general, intoxications can be divided into accidental and intentional. The most important group of intoxications are intentional poisonings with suicidal intent, as well as accidental poisonings with a potentially lethal dose of toxin (eg foodborne intoxication with toadstools). In the following text, we will deal first with the general principles of diagnosis and initial therapy and then with the most clinically important specific cases of poisoning that we encounter in our conditions.
