Abstract

Text studie je zaměřen primárně na rozbor autorem vybraných studijních kreseb krajináře Franze Ferdinanda Runka (1764–1834), které vznikly na zakázku pro polního maršála Jana I. Josefa knížete z Liechtensteina (1760–1836). Byl to právě krajinář Runk, jenž pro dnes již neexistující liechtensteinský vídeňský městský palác na Herrengasse zvěčnil nejenom vybrané voluptuární stavby v dnešní krajinné kompozici Lednicko-valtického areálu, ale i v Nových Zámcích u Litovle, v Kolodějích u Prahy, v dnešním Vranovsko-křtinském liechtensteinském areálu či v krajině tzv. středověkých hradů sahající od dolnorakouského Mödlingu po Sparbach apod. Jde tedy o prostor zahrnující liechtensteinské zámecké parky (ba celé areály) v oblasti rozkládající se od Prahy, hlavního města Království českého, po hlavní město monarchie – Vídeň. Jelikož byla značná část Runkových olejomaleb a kvaší v minulosti již publikována, je tento příspěvek zaměřen pouze na vybrané, nově identikované Runkovy studijní kresby, uložené ve sbírkách Akademie der bildenden Künste ve Vídni, které jsou zároveň obrazovou přílohou této práce. Obrazová příloha tak zahrnuje pouze reprezentativní výběr k dané problematice.

Abstract (in English)

This study offers an analysis of selected studies of landscapist Franz Ferdinand Runk (1764–1834), which were commissioned by Field Marshall Johann I Joseph, Prince of Liechtenstein (1760–1836). Runk painted for Liechtenstein’s town palace at the Viennese Herrenstrasse not only selected voluptuary, i.e. leisure, buildings located in the current landscape composition of Lednice–Valtice, but also those from Nové Zámky by Litovel, Koloděje by Prague, in the current Vranov–Křtiny Liechtenstein compound, or those in the ‘landscape of medieval castles’ which stretches from Mödling in Lower Austria all the way to Sparbach. What he thus painted were not only spaces limited by the borders of particular parks but entire landscapes that included the parks of Liechtenstein palaces or compounds stretching from Prague, the capital city of the Kingdom of Bohemia, all the way to Vienna, the capital of the Habsburg monarchy. Since many of Runk’s oils and gouache paintings had been published in the past, this contribution focuses only on select, newly identified Runk’s studies kept in collections of the Akademie der bildenden Künste in Vienna, which also form a pictorial supplement to this article. The supplement thus contains only a selection of Runk’s painting on the abovementioned subjects.
