The text focuses on recent judgements of the Court of Justice of the European Union regarding the agenda of the end-of-waste status, recent revision of the Directive 2008/98/EC on waste refining the conditions under which waste ceases to be waste especially and establishing new requirements on the construction of the end-of-waste criteria and finally on the new regulation on fertilising products that establishes new criteria when the bio-waste used in the production of fertilising product ceases to be waste
