Abstract

Het doel van het seminarium, onderdeel van het project “Blended learning met de Universiteit van Nederland en Vlaanderen: de ontwikkeling van een cursus Nederlands voor vergevorderde studenten Nederlands” is drievoudig. Ten eerste wonen deelnemers drie workshops bij waarin ze de nodige kennis en vaardigheden opdoen om (1) een MOOC te maken in Open edX (2) gebaseerd op de principes van “flipped learning” (3) en gericht op de behoeften van vergevorderde studenten Nederlands (C1 volgens het ERK). Ten tweede wordt een lijst met bestaand online materiaal, bezorgd door de Nederlandse Taalunie, geëvalueerd en indien nodig aangepast en aangevuld. Dit is noodzakelijk om overlap te vermijden en aan te kunnen sluiten bij reeds bestaande trends in online materiaal voor het NVT-veld. Tot slot is het doel van de bijeenkomst om te discussiëren over leerdoelen en de inhoud van de cursus. Op basis van vier conceptmodules, die ontwikkeld worden door de partners van het project, wordt een leidraad voor de ontwikkelaars van de cursus uitgewerkt.

Abstract (in English)

The aim of the seminar meeting, which is part of the project “Blended Learning with the University of the Netherlands and Flanders: the Development of a Course for Advanced Students of Dutch”, is threefold. First of all participants attend three workshops to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to (1) design a MOOC in Open edX (2) based on the principles of “flipped learning” (3) and focused on the needs of advanced students of Dutch – level C1 according Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). Secondly a list with existing online materials, provided by the Dutch Language Union, will be evaluated and if needed adapted. This is necessary in order to avoid overlap and to respond on existing trends in (online) language materials for Dutch. And last but not least the goal is to discuss about the learning aims and the content of the course. On the basis on four concept modules, developed by the partners of the project, participants design an outline of the course that will be used by the course developers.
