Abstract

Duo docentky představuje unikátní mezifakultní počin v oblasti popularizace vědeckých výsledků. Stand-up duo tvoří Lucie Jarkovská z Pedagogické fakulty a Kateřina Lišková z Fakulty sociálních studií. Obě se ve své vědecké práci zabývají tématy genderu a sexuality a výsledky svého bádání zprostředkovávají veřejnosti skrze jevištní formu stand-upu. Humor využívají jako prostředek zpřístupňující jejich poznatky a také jako nástroj angažované vědy, která nejen popisuje realitu, ale má i ambici ji proměnit tím, že publiku nabízí reflexi současných problémů a témat jako jsou genderová nerovnost, lidská práva nebo sexualita ve výchově a vzdělávání. · Program “Sex včera, dnes a zítra” zahrnuje části o historii sexuality a o sexuální výchově. Část o sexuálních dějinách vychází z výzkumu, který byl publikován v monografii Cambridge University Press (Sexual Liberation, Socialist Style: Communist Czechoslovakia and the Science of Desire, 1945-1989) a získal řadu mezinárodních ocenění. Ve stand upu jsou představeny méně známé a často nečekané aspekty sexuálního osvobození, ke kterému došlo krátce po Únoru 1948, v protikladu k genderově tradičnímu rodinnému uspořádání, které bylo typické pro Československo za normalizace. Publikum se dozví o svérázném vývoji vztahů mezi muži a ženami u nás, vývoji, který se v mnohém liší od formování genderu a sexuality na západě. Část o sexuální výchově se věnuje jak jejímu uchopení v rodině, tak ve školním prostředí. Humor zde působí jako uvolňující prostředek, který může publikum z řad rodičů, vyučujících či dalších vychovatelů zbavit strachu a ostychu mluvit s dětmi o tématech, která je občas přivádějí do úzkých. Tato část byla prezentována také na festivalech pro rodiče nebo vyučující (Aktivní rodičovství, Noc vzdělávání, Jihlava mluví o vzdělávání). · Tato forma popularizace vzbudila zájem a duo získalo pozvánky na festivaly a popularizační akce Academia Film Olomouc, Artwife (Slovensko), Kapitalks (Slovensko), VIDA! after dark.

Abstract (in English)

The duo “A Pair of Profs” represents a unique project in the field of popularization of scientific results. The stand-up duo consists of Lucie Jarkovská from the Faculty of Education and Kateřina Lišková from the Faculty of Social Studies, both Masaryk univeristy. In their scientific work, both deal with the topics of gender and sexuality, and they communicate the results of their research to the public through the stage form of stand-up. They use humor as a means of making their knowledge available and also as a tool for engaged science that not only describes reality but also has the ambition to transform it by offering audiences a reflection of current issues and topics such as gender inequality, human rights or sexuality in education. The "Sex Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow" program includes sections on the history of sexuality and sex education. The section on sexual history is based on research published in the monograph Cambridge University Press (Sexual Liberation, Socialist Style: Communist Czechoslovakia and the Science of Desire, 1945-1989) and won a number of international awards. The stand-up introduces lesser-known and often unexpected aspects of sexual liberation that occurred shortly after February 1948, in contrast to the gender-traditional family arrangement that was typical of Czechoslovakia under normalization. The audience will learn about the peculiar development of relations between men and women in our country, a development that differs in many ways from the formation of gender and sexuality in the West. The section on sex education deals with both its grasp in the family and in the school environment. Humor acts here as a relaxing means that can relieve the audience of parents, teachers or other educators from the fear and shyness of talking to children about topics that sometimes bring them into trouble. This part was also presented at festivals for parents or teachers (Active Parenting, Night of Education, Jihlava talks about education). This form of popularization aroused interest and the duo won invitations to festivals and popularization events Academia Film Olomouc, Artwife (Slovakia), Kapitalks (Slovakia), VIDA! after dark.
