Abstract (in Czech)

Přednáška byla určena studentům magisterského studijního programu „Areálová studia: Bavorská studia“ na Filozofické fakultě Západočeské univerzity v Plzni a konala se (online) 24. listopadu 2020. Cílem přednášky bylo poskytovat zájemcům o dialekty mluvené ve spolkové zemi Bavorsko přehled o základních hláskových jevech specifických pro francká nářečí na severu Bavorska. V centru přednášky byly takové jevy, jimiž se francká nářečí liší od standardní němčiny na jedné straně, a od středobavorských nářečí na druhé straně.

Abstract (in English)

The lecture aims at students inscribed in the master degree program “Areal studies: Bavarian studies” located at the Philosophical Faculty of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. It took place in November 24th, 2020 (online). The main objective was to provide a survey of the basic phonological properties of the Franconian dialects spoken in the north of Bavaria. It focuses on features distinguishing the Franconian dialects from standard German on the one hand, and from the Middle Bavarian dialects on the other hand.
